Kenya -

Day 1 | Nairobi

Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, guests will be greeted and assisted through immigration, luggage handling, and customs. Look for representatives in yellow jackets labeled Trade Winds, as they cannot hold paging boards. Guests will then be driven to Hemingways Nairobi, where they will stay one night in a Deluxe Suite with amenities such as breakfast, butler valet services, Wi-Fi, mineral water, and more.

Additionally, guests can opt for a three-hour excursion exploring Nairobi's attractions. The itinerary includes visits to the Karen Blixen Museum, providing insight into the life of the pioneering coffee farmer; the Giraffe Centre, offering a unique opportunity to interact with Rothschild Giraffes; and the Daphne Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage, where guests can witness efforts to rehabilitate orphaned elephant calves and other vulnerable animals. Adopted elephants can be visited between 5pm-6pm.


Day 2-4 | Laikipia

You will be transferred from Hemingways Nairobi to Wilson Airport for your AirKenya Express flight to Nanyuki Airport, located just north of the Equator in Laikipia County, Kenya. Upon arrival, you will be driven to Karisia Walking Safaris for a 3-night stay in a Tent FB. The package includes all meals, alcohol, a local English-speaking guide, Laikipia Masai and Samburu staff, visits to local schools and markets, rock climbing, and laundry. Activities during your stay involve rock climbing, visiting locals, and walking safaris.



Day 5-6 | Masai Mara

You will be picked up from Karisia Walking Safaris and transported to Nanyuki Airport. Depart from Nanyuki Airport on an AirKenya Express flight to Kichwa Tembo Airstrip in the Masai Mara. Enjoy a 2-night stay at andBeyond Kichwa Tembo Masai Mara Tented Camp in a Superior Tent with ensuite bathroom. The package covers accommodation, all meals, beverages, two daily scheduled game drives, airstrip transfers, and laundry.

Included activities during your stay are game drives. Additionally, guided walks are available at an extra cost. The Masai Mara is known for its year-round concentration of game and hosts the Great Migration, featuring two million animals.


Day 7 | Departure

Depart from Kichwa Tembo Airstrip to Wilson Airport via AirKenya Express. Nairobi, the capital of Kenya, is described as one of the largest and most influential cities in Africa, serving as a commercial and financial regional hub. A member of the andBeyond team will pick you up from Wilson Airport and transport you to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. Upon arrival at the drop-off area, Tradewinds will stay in communication with the guide until guests reach the drop-off point. Guests will receive assistance through security check, check-in, and passport control, and will then be escorted to the lounge or gate, depending on the class of travel.
