Day 1 | Arusha

The aptly named Arusha Coffee Lodge lies hidden amongst the sprawling grounds of Tanzania’s largest coffee plantation below the rugged peaks of Mt Meru. Guests can unwind in one of the lodge’s prized plantation suites, which each boast a romantic four-poster bed draped in Egyptian cotton linen, a split-level sitting area, ensuite bathroom, mosquito nets, ceiling fans, an open fireplace, personal bar and private veranda, which overlook rows and rows of berry-laden coffee bushes.

Guests can enjoy scrumptious meals in the Coffee Lodge lounge or sip on their favourite drinks in the bar area. A boutique store, swimming pool and garden terrace add to guest delight. For additional costs optional adventures include a tour at the Shanga Shangaa coffee plantation, as well as visits to the Museum of Natural History, the Maasai market on Faya Road and the world’s only tanzanite mine. A game drive in Mt Meru National Park, accompanied by a delicious picnic lunch, makes a wonderful outing.

Day 2 | Lake Manyara

After your early breakfast, you will be transferred to Arusha Airport for your scheduled flight. Marvel at the beautiful scenery as you fly high above parts of the Great Rift Valley before landing at Lake Manyara airstrip on the escarpment. Once you arrive at Lake Manyara Airstrip a member from our andBeyond team will meet you and fellow guests, for your road transfer to andBeyond Lake Manyara Tree Lodge.

Lake Manyara National Park offers a wilderness experience in diverse habitats, from its Rift Valley soda lake to dense woodlands and steep mountainsides. Apart from a spectacular setting, the park is famous for its unusual tree-climbing lions and the vast elephant herds it was established to protect. (Approximately 3.5 hours). Put your feet up at andBeyond Lake Manyara Tree Lodge for your 2 night stay in an elegant stilted treehouse with ensuite bathroom with bath, outdoor shower and viewing deck. Your stay includes three meals daily, soft drinks, house wines, local brand spirits and beers, teas and coffees, scheduled safari activities, refreshments on game drives and laundry.

Day 3 | Lake Manyara

Guests who spend two or more nights at &Beyond Lake Manyara Tree Lodge, will receive a complimentary game drive at night OR a scenic bicycle ride exploring Lake Manyara.

Enjoy a guided bike ride or walk through the Mayoka community. Drive to Mayoka to collect your bicycle and begin your adventure through this vibrant village. Here, you will have the chance to interact with the friendly residents, including members of the nomadic Mang’ati tribe. The scenic journey will lead you to the lake, where you may be treated to sightings of various waterbirds.

Day 4-5 | Ngorongoro Crater

Depart from Kichwa Tembo Airstrip to Wilson Airport via AirKenya Express. Nairobi, the capital of Kenya, is described as one of the largest and most influential cities in Africa, serving as a commercial and financial regional hub. A member of the andBeyond team will pick you up from Wilson Airport and transport you to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. Upon arrival at the drop-off area, Tradewinds will stay in communication with the guide until guests reach the drop-off point. Guests will receive assistance through security check, check-in, and passport control, and will then be escorted to the lounge or gate, depending on the class of travel.

Tuck into a sensational breakfast feast before your drive back to the Lake Manyara Airstrip, for your scheduled flight to Lobo Airstrip. Upon landing, you will be collected for a scenic game drive to andBeyond Klein’s Camp.

Explore and discover during your 3 night stay at andBeyond Kleins Camp in an intimate Cottage with ensuite bathroom with shower only. Your stay includes three meals daily, soft drinks, house wines, local brand spirits and beers, teas and coffees, scheduled safari activities, refreshments on game drives and laundry.

Day 6-8 | Northern Serengeti

Day 9 | Departure

Enjoy an early morning game drive and a tantalizing breakfast before being driven back to the airstrip, where we wave a fond farewell as you board your scheduled flight to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your outbound flight.
